The European tour will see Peru visit Serbia (from May 3-7), Slovakia (8-12), Turkey (13-17) and Spain (18-25) in an effort to make a winning return to the FIVB Volleyball Women's Junior World Championship after their last appearance 16 years ago.Lima, Peru, May 2, 2011 – The Peru volleyball women´s junior team has stepped up its preparations ahead of hosting the FIVB Volleyball Women´s Junior World Championship from July 22-31 by having a four-week training camp and friendly matches in five European countries from May 3-31.
The European tour will see Peru, who are trained by Peruvian sporting legend and Olympic silver medallist Natalia Malaga, visit Serbia (from May 3-7), Slovakia (8-12), Turkey (13-17) and Spain (18-25) in an effort to make a winning return to the FIVB Volleyball Women's Junior World Championship after their last appearance 16 years ago.
Peru claimed the silver medal in 1981 while their last appearance was in 1995 in Bangkok Thailand where they finished ninth. For this reason Peru is developing a
