Las chicas Serbias compiten para el Campeonato Mundial esta vez en casa!!!

The 2010 European silver medalists of Serbia will try to qualify for the




2011 FIVB Junior Women’s World Championship coming up this summer in Peru (Lima and Trujillo) via the tournament that will run through this May 18-22 in Zrenjanin. The "Crystal Hall" is ready to welcome the national teams of Serbia, Poland, Greece, Portugal and Montenegro for what is supposed to be also a kind of additional rehearsal for the 2011 CEV Volleyball European Championship – Women slated for next September in Serbia and Italy.


Serbia will join this home tournament with the same roster that claimed silver at last year’s CEV European Championship but with a different mentor, as Ratko Pavlicevic was recently named head coach of the team. Serbia will try to make it back to the World Championship after their last appearance in 2005 in Ankara where they claimed the silver medal losing the final game to Brazil.
