The Serbia Junior Women's team collected silver after the men's team had won bronze the week before
Belgrade, Serbia, September 12, 2010 – Serbia became the only country to win medals in both the men’s and women’s European Junior Championships after the Junior Women’s team won silver on Sunday, while the Junior Men left the men’s competition played in Belarus on September 5 with bronze.
The medalists at the Women’s Junior Championship which was played in the cities of Zrenjanin and Nis in Serbia, were Italy, Serbia, and Czech Republic while in the Junior Men’s competition Russia, Bulgaria, and Serbia occupied the podium places.
Serbia was one of eight countries having two teams at the 2010 Junior European Championships along with Italy, Russia, Germany, Turkey, the Netherlands, Poland, and Belgium.
